
Congratulations to the following runners who will be representing King William at the VA XC Showcase on Saturday at Pole Green Park. Over 15,000 spectators and runners will be in attendance throughout the day and we wish them the best of luck!

Congratulations to both teams for taking first place during yesterday's meet at Lancaster.
Leading the girls team was Alexis Hessler, Logan Johnson, Katie Simal, Riley Redd and Callie Hurson. Natalie Wechsler and Lilly Anthony also helped push back opposing team members to lead to the winning score.
Leading the boys team was Jeremy Mace, Trent Mace, Grady Heinsman, Joel Barber and DJ Harris. Henry Kite and JD Carson also helped push back opposing teams members to lead to the winning score.
Our last race of the regular season takes place next Wednesday at Middlesex. Top members of our team will be moving on to represent King William in the District meet on the 30th.

October is "National Disability Employment Awareness Month!" Service Learning has been raising awareness by researching and creating infographics about various topics. We then welcomed David Robbins from Sportable to talk to our class about sporting opportunities for people with physical disabilities. 🏀🔥 So proud of our HHMS and KWHS adapted curriculum classes for coming together for their first basketball game of the year! It was incredible to see the KWHS students cheering on our players with such enthusiasm and sportsmanship. This event was a true testament to the power of unity and positivity.










We had a beautiful day for our home meet. Congratulations to our boys teams as they celebrate a first place win and girls second place.
The boys team was led by Trent Mace who also placed first out of the 46 boys running. Also scoring for the boys team were Henry Kite (3rd), Grady Heinsman (4th), JD Carson (6th) and Joel Barber (8th) followed by DJ Harris and Kellan Silva who helped push back opposing runners to round out the top seven for KW boys.
Reagan Walpole led the girls team placing 3rd out of 31 runners followed by Alexis Hassler, Callie Hurson, Logan Johnson and Katie Simal bringing in the score for the girls team.
Congratulations to all runners and a special thank you to our parents that helped provide snacks to all 77 runners after their race! Thank you to our community for coming out to support this group of hard working kids.

Check out this colorful display of creativity from Mr. Lacy's' class! Students explored the 6 big ideas of government through amazing sidewalk chalk drawings, connecting their art to the Constitution. This activity has been a long time tradition of Mrs. Connie Plum's that we are glad to carry on after her retirement.











The King William Cavaliers’ golf season ended with an impressive overall record of 16-5, and yesterday at the 2A Regional Golf Tournament at Sleepy Hole Golf Course, the team placed 4th out of 8 teams. Great work!
Senior Van Downey scored 77 and T7th place overall, which earned All-Region honors. Other team scores include: freshman Mason Kirby, 85; senior Annabelle Townsend, 93; senior Trevor Gooch, 94; senior Grayson Reid, 95; and junior Cole Robinson, 95.
Congratulations to all the team members and the coaches! Go Cavs!








We were thrilled to get back into race mode after a few weeks off! 🏃♀️ On October 1, the KWXC team returned to West Point, competing against 4 other schools. A big shoutout to our incredible athletic boosters and parents for providing snacks for the team again! 🍎💪

What an incredible start for Cavalier Field Hockey! 🏑 On Friday, they played their inaugural game in Midlothian against the Panthers Field Hockey Club. The team's teamwork and determination were truly impressive! 🌟 A huge congratulations to Erin Schaefer for being awarded the game ball for her outstanding performance as our goalkeeper!
