Could students plan a real community event? Mr. Lacy’s Government classes just proved they can! 🎉 Over the course of their unit on state and local government, students: • Brainstormed event ideas and picked venues • Built realistic budgets • Designed logos and promotional materials • Identified which state and local agencies/departments to involve • Created event swag using the KWHS Maker’s Space to boost promotion
We’re so proud of their hands-on civic learning — and the real-world skills they practiced.
