Service Learning I & II got together for our first service trip of the year to The Cornerstone! We worked hard cleaning and organizing to help our community development center and giving back to our community. #LearningtoServe #ServiceLearning

Students in Ms. Pinder's Sports Medicine I class collaborated to build models of the knee using Play-doh and label all parts, including bones, ligaments, and muscle groups. Great job, everyone!
Congratulations to our runners on an excellent performance at their regional race held on Monday at Bruton High School where they competed against 13 other schools. The girls are the VHSL 2A Region A Champions and the boys are the VHSL Region A Runner-Ups.

Both teams will advance to the State meet held on November 16th at Virginia Tech.

Last week, we witnessed an inspiring concert featuring our talented band and choir students. Their performances not only showcased their hard work and dedication but also highlighted the importance of arts education in nurturing young talent. 🎶
The last XC race of the regular season took place this last Wednesday at Middlesex with 20 of our runners finishing with their best race time for the season. For many of our runners this was their final race and we are so proud of what they have accomplished this year.
Boys team took second place by just a few points. Leading the team was Jeremy Mace, Henry Kite, DJ Harris, Grady Heinsman and Joel Barber. Kellan Silva and Jameson Tetrault also helped bring in the final score.
The girls team took third place led by Logan Johnson, Alexis Hassler, Callie Hurson, Katie Simal and Lilly Anthony.
Next week we begin our competitive races hoping to qualify all the way to the state level. Good luck Cavs!

Congratulations, Annabelle Townsend, for competing at the VHSL Girls Open Championships at the beautiful Gauntlet Golf Club in Fredericksburg today. As the only female KW golfer, she faced the unfamiliar 18-hole course without the rest of her KWHS team, but she persevered and finished her KWHS golf career in strong fashion. What a beautiful Saturday for our Cross Country team at the Virginia XC Showcase! 🌞 With 36 schools and 330 runners, it was an exciting competition! A special shoutout to our boys team for finishing 14th out of 35 teams! 🎉 Huge congratulations to Trent Mace for his impressive 38th place finish out of 328 boys! 🏃♂️👏 We're so proud of everyone’s hard work!
