What an inspiring day! 🎨 Last Thursday our Art 2, 3 & 4 students explored three amazing stops: the Visual Arts Center to view Scholastic Awards winners from the Richmond area, the VMFA’s Giants exhibition, and local work at Crossroads Art & Cultural Center. It was a powerful day of inspiration, learning, and conversation about art careers and community creativity.

Service Learning II and III spent the day at Covenant Woods to celebrate Valentine's Day with the residents. We played balloon volleyball, sang songs, and helped set up for their Mardi Gras party! Fun and laughter was had by all!

Recognizing leadership that strengthens our schools: February is National School Board Appreciation Month. School board members play a critical role in governance, policymaking, and ensuring equitable outcomes for students. Their strategic decisions impact budgets, curriculum, and community trust.

We loved our visit from Ron and Rudee with Caring Canines! Service Learning and Teachers for Tomorrow students enjoyed Ron's presentation about the impact of therapy dogs and the hard work it goes into training them...the Rudee cuddles were nice, as well! 🐶🐶
