This month we celebrate the rich history, achievements, and living legacies of Black leaders, students, staff, and community members across our district. From classroom projects and student spotlights to community events and resource shares, we’re committed to learning, listening, and honoring voices that shaped our past and are shaping our future.

One of our SODA mentors ran into her student at a high school basketball game, and the smiles said it all! They were so happy to see each other, a perfect example of how SODA mentors are looked up to by the younger students they guide. SODA’s mission is about building character, connection, and life skills, which help create meaningful relationships and moments like this.
