Two KWHS students participated in the Bridging Communities Regional Career & Technical Center signing day and will graduate tomorrow as new employees in the workforce. DJ Harris signed with Aarrow Automotive & Transmissions, and Jake Holcomb signed with Wyatt's Pro Mechanix. Both were students in the diesel program. Many thanks to Dr. Julie Ellis and the amazing BCTC instructors. The opportunities they provide our students are unmatched. Great job, DJ and Jake, and good luck in your futures! Go Cavs!

On Thursday, May 8th King William County Public Schools held their 2nd annual Teacher of the Year/Retiree Banquet. The group enjoyed fellowship and the opportunity to celebrate many teachers and staff. We would like to thank our Retirees for their many, many years of dedication to our students and schools. Enjoy your time!
We would also like to congrat the receipents of each school for being selected as Teacher of the Year for your individual schools.
Big Congrats goes to Mrs. Amy Hood, King William High School for being selected as the Teacher of the Year for King William County.
We would like to shout out to Dixon's Automotive (along with other King William businesses) for putting together a basket of gift cards and goodies for the receipent of Teacher of the Year. We would also like to think Horace Man and Heiff Jones for their sponsorship contribution to the banquet. As always a thank you to All Stewed Up Catering who catered the food for the second year in a row.
