
This morning, our JROTC program held a heartfelt memorial for 9/11. 🌟 We gathered to pay tribute to the courage and sacrifice of those who served and lost their lives.






Our Environmental Science class took learning to a whole new level today! 🌎🗺️ Students engaged in an epic game of "Battleship" to master longitude and latitude coordinates on maps. It was amazing to see how a classic game could transform into such an effective learning tool!







It was an exciting evening on the course! The KWHS Cavalier Golf team remained undefeated for the season by beating the Middlesex Chargers 170-171 at Queenfield Golf Club.
Trevor Gooch not only scored 3-over 39, but he also shot a Hole-in-One on the 162 yard par 3 8th hole. Congratulations, Trevor! Van Downey contributed to the team win with a round of 41. Annabelle Townsend and Mason Kirby both scored 45. Grayson Reid and Cole Robinson recorded scores of 48 and 51 respectively for the team.
Next, the Cavaliers host the Red Devils of Lancaster on Wednesday at Queenfield GC. Go Cavs!

KWHS Golf dominated the Mathews Blue Devils on Wednesday at Piankatank River Golf Club 173-248. Grayson Reid led the team with a 6-over 42, followed closely by Annabelle Townsend, who shot a round of 43. Trevor Gooch and Van Downey rounded out the team scores each with a 44. The team is 6-0 for the season. Great job! Go Cavs!











Although KWHS Volleyball fell short last night away at Rappahannock, they played with heart and grit! Keep pushing, ladies! Go Cavs!










King William XC had a great season opener last night competing against 3 other schools. Bringing in first place out of the 3 boys teams competing were Jeremy Mace (1st) with a time of 18:12, Trent Mace (2nd) Henry Kite (4th), Joel Barber (11th) and JD Carson (12th) out of the 41 boys running.
The girls took second place out of the 2 teams. Taking the lead for King William was Regan Walpole who placed 5th out of the 30 girls running. Rounding out the top five scoring members of the team were Callie Hurson, Logan Johnson, Alexis Hassler and Katie Simal.
There were many individual goals met and surpassed last night and we are looking forward to a great season.

Just a reminder that schools are closed August 30 and September 2 for the Labor Day Holiday.

Thursday evening the KWHS Volleyball Cavaliers scrimmaged against the Mechanicsville Mustangs. While the JV team fell 2-1, they showed up strong and are preparing for a good season ahead. The Varsity team beat their opponents 3-1 and look to command the court during the upcoming season. Great job, ladies!










The KWHS Football team competed in a scrimmage against Essex and Tabb High School tonight. The team is working hard to prepare for the season! Go Cavs!!

On Tuesday afternoon, the King William Cavalier Golf team played their first match of the season, defeating Rappahannock 332-371. Grayson Reid led the Cavs with a score of 79 to earn medalist honors. Trevor Gooch and Van Downey each shot 80, and Cole Robinson scored 93 for his season debut. Mason Medlin and Conner Robinson carded scores of 107 and 119 respectively. Next up for the team is a match against Essex on Monday. Go Cavs!
