Today, our SODA (Student Organization for Developing Attitudes) mentors visited AES to meet their 4th grade buddies and start building positive connections! This amazing group of high school role models will return throughout the year to lead fun, engaging lessons on friendship, teamwork, empathy, and making good choices. A fun time was had by all!



Yesterday, our Art II, III, and IV students had the invaluable opportunity to visit VCU's Art Building for a personalized tour, gaining insights into their programs. They also experienced the incredible Frida Kahlo exhibit at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. This field trip not only broadened their artistic horizons but also reinforced the importance of experiential learning in art education.

Congratulations to your Tidewater District Tournament Champions! The team won the district tournament championship today at Hobbs Hole GC by posting a team score of 324.
The Cavaliers were led by Sal Vol, who fired the low medalist round of 75 and earned Tidewater Distrivt MVP honors. Patch Planz carded a round of 81 to earn All-district honors. Dallas Thompson and Cole Robinson fired rounds of 84 to also earn All-district team honors. Mason Kirby and Mason Medlin carded rounds of 85 and 98 respectfully for the team.
The team is now 11-3 on the season and will travel to Sleepy Hole in Suffolk next Monday to compete in the 2A Regional Golf Tournament. Go Cavs!

Last Friday, our Field Hockey team had an exciting opportunity to visit Virginia Commonwealth University. The girls enjoyed a campus tour before watching VCU take on Wake Forest in an action-packed game. After the match, Wake Forest's head coach, Jennifer Averill, and several players took time to meet with our team. They shared words of encouragement, offered insight into the game, and left the girls inspired and motivated to carry that positive energy into their own season. Go Cavs!!


The King William Golf team defeated the visiting Chargers of Middlesex yesterday at Queenfield Golf Club by a score of 158-190.
The Cavaliers were led by a trio of 38’s from Mason Kirby, Cole Robinson, and Sal Volo. Dallas Thompson rounded out the team scoring with a round of 44. Patch Planz and Mason Medlin posted scores of 47 and 52 respectively.
With the win, the Cavaliers secure at least a share of the regular season district championship. The team in now 8-3 overall and will be back in action on Wednesday against Essex HS at Queenfield GC at 4pm. Go Cavs!
